Down Time

We did not see any poverty or homelessness in Bangkok. We never saw local police harrasing or bothering anyone. Stray cats and dogs are everywhere.

Day or night, we always felt safe in Bangkok. I saw several tourists camping for the night in public parks without worry. The air was dirty and the smell of rotten meat was present too often.
