We drove from New York City (with our bikes and our dog Alf in tow) in mid-August to New Glasgow, Nova-Scotia, Canada. This 700 mile cycling trip started there and lasted 16 days, taking us thru the main island of Nova-Scotia and then by ferry-boat into Prince Edward Island. We rode on average 50 miles per day, staying in hotels and resorts along the way and taking a day off for every 4 days of cycling.
