 Travel day:  1st ave (bet 38-39 st) NYC. Bolt Bus departure

Ferry from Boston to Provincetown (Cape Cod)

Route 6 south from Provincetown, MA to Orleans, MA.
Mass. Rail-trail, Cape-Cod. to Orleans, MA.

Hyannis Port


Mass. rail-trail: Falmouth to Woods-Hole.
Boat ride to Martha's Vineyard. Woods-Hole to Oak-Bluffs.

Phoenix Rail-Trail, Fairhaven, Mass. (Leading up to New-Bedford bridge and Dartmouth College)


DAY FOUR:   rain at Narragansett Town beach, RI.
 Not a day for swimming (or cycling)

Day 4: Motel-6 in Warwick, RI. After 44 miles ride in the rain. 
Luckily, this cheap joint had a washer and dryer.


10 mile ride from Orient-Point (ferry from CT) to
 Greenport,  LI (train to NYC)





Bus from NYC to Boston (bike on board). Ferry from Boston harbor to Provincetown, MA. 6-day bike-ride to New-London, CT (hugging the Cape-Cod shoreline and Martha's Vineyard),  Ferry from New London, CT to Orient-Point, Long Island. 10 mile ride to LIRR train station. Train to Penn Station, NYC.

Bolt Bus will let you ride with an unboxed bike. bring a strap to tie that sucker down from flying around. (Bolt bus limits 3 bikes per bus, first comes - first served)

Boston South Station. Thank you, BoltBus for being the only service to allow fully-assembled bikes on board!
DAY ONE:  Ferry from Boston to Provincetown (Cape Cod)

Chatham. Cape-Cod. Mass.
DAY TWO:  Breakfast in America. Route 28 between Dennis-Port and Hyannis-Port.
Hyannis Port
Mass. rail-trail: Falmouth to Woods-Hole.
bike path Edgartown - to - Oak-Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard.
DAY THREE:  Riding over Bourne bridge. Rt 28. Mass.
Day 3. 68 miles.
